Nessa is one of the main characters in the Canadian/Brazilian animated series, My Big Big Friend.

Nessa is a cheerful pink giraffe who is very loyal to her best friend, Lili. She hardly gets upset and will do whatever Lili asks her to do, even if it inconveniences her. Nessa sometimes tries to talk some sense into Lili when she is misbehaving, often to no avail.

- She is the only big big friend who wears glasses. This is likely because Lili also wears glasses.
- In season 2 Nessa’s ears got a little bigger. In the movie, they got bigger and her mouth design changed and her eyebrows were removed. This design was used in the merchandise.
- In The Episode Taste Test, She said Princess Pea’s Line from the show Super Why “Peas And Carrots”. This may be a reference to her voice actor, who also plays Princess Pea.
- In the episode Toughen Up Nessa Nessa eats some leaves and spits them out despite leaves being part of the average giraffe’s diet.
